OUR GLOBAL COALITION Brazil

Schools2030 is building a global movement that supports increased teacher and school agency to improve education equity and quality and to raise holistic learning outcomes.

This movement is made up of a broad coalition of education stakeholders, including teachers and school communities, national and global technical partners, local and national governments, civil society organisations and donors.

The Aga Khan Foundation is the lead implementor of the Schools2030 programme and coordinates our partnerships across school, national and global level. The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) is an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network and is the designated Schools2030 Global Programme Secretariat, as well as one of the founding donors. AKF is also the implementing partner in nine of ten Schools2030 countries; Ashoka implements Schools2030 Brazil. In each country, our programme is driven by staff who live in and are from the communities we serve.

Schools2030 is supported by a growing community of global and country-level technical partners that provide assistance in the planning, design, and research.

GLOBAL

At the global level, our technical partners coordinate and synergise the innovation, research and evidence from across our ten countries. In addition, we are supported by a consortium of donors who work in coordination to ensure Schools2030 is equipped with financial resources, cross-sector expertise, and can leverage the influence and networks of each partner to expand our impact. Schools2030 also works through National Advisory Committees (NACs) made up of Ministry of Education and other government officials, NGOs and civil society, teacher networks, international organisations and bi-lateral and multi-lateral donors. These committees provide oversight on the Schools2030 programme and ensure alignment to policy and curricular priorities.

SCHOOLS

At school-level, we work with over 5,000 teachers and 50,000 students, as well as the wider school community of parents, youth organisations, civil society bodies and local education authorities.
